Our Relationship with SoLoVision
SoLoPrint is a SoLoVision LLC product. This app-specific policy supplements the SoLoVision master privacy policy and explains the data practices unique to SoLoPrint. If the policies differ, this policy controls for SoLoPrint-specific processing.
Information SoLoPrint processes
We process account and organization information such as your email address, display name, role, authentication identifiers, and organization membership. We also process the printer, material, file, queue, automation, and support information you choose to place in SoLoPrint.
- Printer identity, connection configuration, status, temperatures, progress, and firmware-reported events.
- 3D models, project files, G-code, thumbnails, slicer settings, and generated output you upload or create.
- Filament inventory, queue records, print history, device registrations, and notification preferences.
- Diagnostic, security, and request metadata needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, isolate each organization's data, manage and monitor printers, store files, slice models, deliver jobs and notifications, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability. We do not sell personal information or use SoLoPrint data for third-party behavioral advertising.
Service providers and integrations
SoLoPrint uses service providers for authentication, databases, protected file storage, hosting, transactional communications, error monitoring, availability monitoring, first-party product analytics, mobile push delivery, and customer support. Support conversations are handled through Chatwoot and may include the app, platform, package name, app version, support topic, and information you choose to send. Printer integrations communicate through the SoLoPrint Bridge or the connection method you configure. Data is shared only as needed to provide those functions, comply with law, or protect the service.
Analytics and diagnostics
We collect limited first-party events such as page views, referral and campaign parameters, sign-in and support actions, feature activation, and conversion milestones. We also collect crash and performance diagnostics through our monitoring providers. These records may include a pseudonymous session or device identifier, application version, browser or device type, route, timestamp, and technical error context. We do not put passwords, printer access codes, API keys, private model contents, or message contents in analytics events.
Camera and local printer data
Camera images and printer traffic are used to provide the monitoring or control action you request. Depending on the configured printer and Bridge path, this information can pass through local software or SoLoPrint services and may be buffered transiently for delivery and diagnostics. SoLoPrint does not use camera content for advertising or unrelated profiling.
Security and retention
We use encrypted network connections, access controls, organization-scoped authorization, and secure session handling. Android session tokens are encrypted with Android Keystore-backed storage. We retain account and product data while your account is active and as reasonably needed for service delivery, security, backups, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.
Your choices and deletion
You can remove many files and records directly in SoLoPrint. You may also request deletion of your SoLoPrint account and associated data from the app's Settings screen or through our account-deletion page. We may retain narrowly required records for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or transaction recordkeeping and will explain any applicable retention when processing the request.
